Inge Danielsson (born June 14, 1941 ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Danielsson started his career at Ifö / Bromölla IF in Division 2 . There he was able to convince and in 1967 he moved to Helsingborgs IF in Allsvenskan .

In 1968 Danielsson went abroad. With the top Dutch team Ajax Amsterdam he became national champion in the same year. The following year he reached the final of the European Cup with the club. He scored four goals against Benfica in three games in the semi-finals - at that time there was no penalty shoot-out and therefore a play-off was necessary . In the final, however, they lost 4-1 to AC Milan , where Kurt Hamrin was another Swede.

After a year and a half at Ajax, Danielsson returned to Sweden in the summer of 1969 to his former club Helsingborgs IF, which now played only second class. In 1973 he played another year for IFK Norrköping in Allsvenskan before ending his career with his parent club Ifö / Bromölla IF and later with Villandsvånga .

On November 6, 1966 Danielsson made his debut at home in Råsunda in the 2-1 win over Denmark in the Swedish national team and scored his first international goal with the 2-1 winner in the 48th minute. By 1971 he played in 17 international matches for the national team and scored eight international goals.
