Ira Morgan
Ira H. Morgan (born April 2, 1889 in Fort Ross , California , † April 10, 1959 in San Rafael , California) was an American cameraman .
Life
Ira Morgan - also known as Joe Morgan - began his career as a cameraman on Gaumont News , an early newsreel. He later went to the film company Essanay , where he mainly worked with the director King Vidor . He has led the camera in films such as the thriller The Vampire Bat and Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times , here with Roland Totheroh . He retired in 1956. His work includes more than 170 productions.
