Umaghlessi League 2009/10

The 2010/11 Umaghlessi League was the 22nd season of the top Georgian men's soccer division. The season began on September 15, 2010 and ended on May 22, 2011. Unlike the previous season, the league consisted of 10 teams. Been Moved up Torpedo Kutaisi and FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti .

The teams played against each other four times. At the end of the season, the two worst teams had to play relegation games against the third and fourth placed in the second division. The two best-placed teams in the second division rose straight away. Thus the league was increased to 12 clubs.

    Relegation matches

    The last two clubs played against the third and fourth placed team of the Pirveli League relegation games. The winners took part in the Umaghlessi League in 2011/12, the losers in the Pirveli League. The champion and runner-up of the Pirveli League rose straight away.
