Rati Zinamdsgwrishvili ( Georgian რატი წინამძღვრიშვილი ; born March 22, 1988 in Tbilisi ; English transcription Rati Tsinamdzgvrishvili ) is a Georgian football player who is currently under contract with Tschichura Satschchere in the Georgian top division, the Umaghlessi League .

Career

Zinamdsgwrishvili made his international debut for the Georgian national soccer team at the age of 17. After playing for the Georgian U19 national team since 2004, he was appointed to the national team for the first time in August 2005 and came on in his first game against Kazakhstan in the 86th minute. In the second leg of World Cup qualification Europe 2004/05, he came into the game in the second half. On November 15, 2006 Zinamdsgwrishvili played for the last time for the Georgian national soccer team when he came on in the 74th minute in a friendly (2-0 win against Uruguay).

In 2006 he won the Georgian Cup in the final with FC Ameri Tiflis against his future club, FC Zestafoni .

Because his surname, internationally transcribed Tsinamdzgvrishvili , is 18 letters long and is difficult to pronounce for most foreigners because of its 13 consonants, the first name Rati is usually given on the back of his jersey. Zinamdsgwrischwili is an old Georgian noble family, whose direct descendant Rati Zinamdsgwrischwili is.
