The Veikkausliiga 2011 was the 22nd season of the top Finnish league in men's football under this name and the 81st season since its introduction in 1930. The season started on May 2 with the game Myllykosken Pallo -47 against IFK Mariehamn , the Mariehamn club won the game 2-0. The season ended on October 30, 2011.

The league was originally supposed to start with 14 teams, but AC Oulu and three-time Finnish champions Tampere United were denied their license.
The championship was played in a triple round. Each team played 33 games this season. The bottom of the table was relegated.
