The Mestaruussarja 1969 was the 39th season of the Finnish football championship since its introduction in 1930. It was played among twelve teams from April 27 to October 5. Kokkolan Palloveikot became champion ahead of Kuopion PS .

    The final of the Finnish Football Cup took place on October 8, 1969 in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium between Haka Valkeakoski and Tapion Honka . Valkeakoski won 2-0.
