Mestaruussarja 1966

The Mestaruussarja 1967 was the 37th season of the Finnish football championship since its introduction in 1930. It was played among twelve teams from April 23 to October 8. Champion was Lahden Reipas before defending champion Kuopion PS .

Only two teams instead of three had to be relegated at the end of the season. Mikkelin Palloilijat benefited from this new regulation .

    The final of the Finnish Football Cup took place on October 11, 1967 in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium between Kotkan Työvänen Palloilijat and Lahden Reipas . Kotka won 2-0.
