The Vaasan Palloseura (German Vaasaer Ballverein or Ballverein Vassa ), Vaasan PS or simply VPS for short , is a football club from the Finnish city ​​of Vaasa , which currently plays in the Veikkausliiga , Finland's top division.

The club was founded in 1924 and plays its home games in the 4,600-seat Hietalahti Stadium , its club colors are black and white. The club's greatest successes were the two championships in 1945 and 1948. Later, VPS took part twice as runners-up in qualifying for the UEFA Cup , but could not qualify for the main round.
