Jukka Sleichen (born June 20, 1982 in Vaasa ) is a former Finnish football player on the position of central defender .
career
Club career
Likewise played in the youth at Vaasan PS . In 2000 the defender made his debut for the club in the Veikkausliiga . After four seasons he moved to FC Hämeenlinna before he joined the Swedish club Örgryte IS in the Allsvenskan . With the club he rose to the Superettan at the end of the 2006 season , but remained loyal to the club. After the end of the 2007 season, he left the club and returned to Finland. In the Veikkausliiga, he finally joined HJK Helsinki from 2008 . After another season in Finland, however, he left the club again for Sweden, where he was used for the Jönköpings Södra IF from the 2010 game year . Just one year later, after 27 league appearances in both seasons, he was declared without a club. After he couldn't find a club in the following years and after five years he still couldn't find a new employer, his career as a football player can be regarded as over.
National team career
He also made his debut on March 12, 2005 in the Finnish national team in a 1-0 win over Kuwait's national team . Previously, he had been active three times for the country's U-21 team and took part in the 2001 World Junior Championship with them . Furthermore, he was used from the U-16 selection of Finland in every further youth selection of his home country.
