FC Hämeenlinna is a Finnish football club from the city of Hämeenlinna .
history
The club was founded in 1929 as Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho (Hämeenlinna football club). In 1992 HPK merged with PaKä Hämeenlinna to form the Kesko Team Hämeenlinna. In 1997 it was renamed FC Hämeenlinna.
successes
From 2002 to 2004 the club played three seasons in the Veikkausliiga (highest league). 2004 FC Hämeenlinna reached the cup final of the Suomen Cup . At the Finnair Stadium , Hämeenlinna lost 2-1 to Myllykosken Pallo -47 .
