Roni Porokara (born December 12, 1983 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish football player . The international playing as an attacker is under contract with HJK Helsinki in the Veikkausliiga .
Career
societies
Roni Porokara began his career at FC Jokerit for which he remained without commitment. In 2003, at the age of 20, he played his first professional season in Finland with FC Hämeenlinna . After the club was relegated to the Ykkönen at the end of the 2004 season , Porokara moved to league rivals FC Honka Espoo . With the new club, which is based in the second largest city of Finland Espoo , he was able to make the promotion to the Veikkausliiga perfect in the first year with the team around players like Hannu Haarala , Ville Jalasto , Hannu Patronen , Joel Perovuo and Hermanni Vuorinen . After two fourth places in the championship in 2006 and 2007 and 24 goals in 76 league games, Porokara moved to Örebro SK in the Allsvenskan . After three seasons in Sweden, he then signed a contract with seven-time Belgian champions Beerschot AC . In the summer of 2012 he moved to Israel to Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona , but was only used there three times, so that he left the club again after six months. He took place at FC Honka Espoo, where he played the next stop in his career between 2005 and 2007.
National team
In 2005 Porokara played once in Finland's U-21s . In May 2006, under national coach Roy Hodgson, he made his debut for the Finnish national team in the international match against Sweden after he had been substituted on for Joonas Kolkka . Porokara scored the premier goal for Finland in February 2009 in a 5-1 defeat against Japan in Tokyo when he made it 3-1. In addition to appearances in the qualification for the 2010 World Cup and in the qualification for the 2012 European Championship , he also played international matches in the Baltic Cup 2012 and King's Cup .
