The Mestaruussarja 1945/46 was the 16th season of the Finnish football championship since its introduction in 1930. It began on August 19, 1945 and ended on June 21, 1946.

Two separate championships were played by the Finnish Football Association SPL and the Finnish Workers' Sports Association TUL. The champions of the two organizations played a final for the Finnish championship. In this case Vaasa IFK (SPL) won against Tampereen Pallo-Veikot (TUL) with 5: 1 quite clearly.

    Masters Finals

    The two first place winners of the SPL and the TUL determined the Finnish champion in the Best of Three mode . The Games took place on July 10th in Tampere, July 21st in Vaasa and August 7th in Helsinki.
