Tampereen Pallo-Veikot (TPV for short) is a Finnish football club from Tampere .
history
1971 TPV played for the first time in the Mestaruussarja. But in the end the team was missing two points to stay in the league. It was not until 22 years later, in 1993, that TPV returned to the top Finnish league and reached sixth place as a promoted player. The following year, the first championship title was won with two points ahead of Myllykosken Pallo -47 , which Tampere also qualified for the first time for an international competition, but there was eliminated in the preliminary round of the UEFA Cup against Viking Stavanger . 1995 TPV rose in twelfth place again in the second division.
