The Mestaruussarja 1936 was the seventh season of the Finnish football championship since its introduction in 1930. It was played among eight teams from May 3 to October 18. For the eighth time, HJK Helsinki became Finnish football champions. Last year's champion Helsingin Palloseura was runner-up.
