Career

Eoin Doyle was born in the Irish capital Dublin in 1988 and began his football career in 1998 with Shelbourne FC from the Drumcondra district . After three years he left the club in the direction of FC Cherry Orchard . From 2002 to 2006 he played on Crumlin United junior teams in Northern Ireland . At the start of the 2006 season, the League of Ireland has been committed from the junior level of his former club Shelbourne FC to aground for the men's team Doyle. For this, however, he did not play a competitive game in the league, so that he ran up for league rivals Shamrock Rovers from 2007 . Added to this was the fact that no salaries were paid at Shelbourne FC for several months and the license was withdrawn at the end of the season, which resulted in forced relegation. For the Rovers he played the next two years from 2007 to 2009. In July 2009, he switched to the Sligo Rovers . At the new place of work he was able to score 3 goals in 15 league games in the first season . In the two following seasons Doyle was able to fight for a regular place in the storm of the Irish record champions and score 26 goals in a total of 69 league games. In 2010 he won the Irish League Cup and FAI Cup with the Rovers . He and the team won the FAI Cup one more time at the 2011 edition . After the end of the 2011 season , in which Doyle was second on the top scorer list with 20 league goals behind Éamon Zayed , Doyle moved to the Scottish first division club Hibernian Edinburgh . With the Hibs he made it to the Scottish Cup final in 2012 and 2013 , which was lost both times. In the 2012 final against city rivals Heart of Midlothian in the Edinburgh Derby , which was heavily lost. Five days after losing the Cup to Celtic Glasgow in 2013 , the striker, who scored 11 goals in 49 league games at the Hibs , signed with Chesterfield FC . The very first season he was to spend in England was crowned by the rise of the Spireites to Football League One .
