The Football League Two 2013/14 was the tenth season of the English Football League Two as the fourth highest English division behind the Premier League , the Football League Championship and the Football League One as well as the 22nd season of the third highest division of the Football League after the introduction of the Premier League in 1992. It started on August 3, 2013. The last game day was May 3, 2014. The three top-ranked clubs, Chesterfield FC , Scunthorpe United and Rochdale AFC , were promoted directly to Football League One, the clubs in places four to seven played in play-off mode for fourth promotion place. The play-off final won the fourth-placed Fleetwood Town . The Bristol Rovers and Torquay United had to relegate .
