The Football League Third Division 1993/94 was the second season of the Football League Third Division as only the fourth highest English football league and 36th fourth division season overall.

The top three clubs Shrewsbury Town , Chester City and Crewe Alexandra went straight to the Football League Second Division. The clubs in places four to seven played the fourth promoted team in play-off mode. Here, rising Wycombe Wanderers prevailed.

Northampton Town was able to hold the league as bottom of the table, as the champions of the Football Conference, Kidderminster Harriers , did not meet the requirements in terms of stadium capacity and thus their promotion was denied.
