The Football League Fourth Division 1958/59 was the first season of the fourth highest English football league . Participants were the teams that did not finish better than 13th place in last year's third division North and South.
The top four teams were promoted to the Football League Third Division . There was no relegation. The four last-placed clubs all received a sufficient number of votes in the re-election process to be allowed to participate again in the Fourth Division in the following season 1959/60.
