The Football League Two 2012/13 was the ninth season of the English Football League Two as the fourth highest English division behind the Premier League , the Football League Championship and the Football League One as well as the 21st season of the third highest division of the Football League after the introduction of the Premier League in 1992. It started on August 18, 2012. The last game day was April 27, 2013. The three top-ranked clubs, Gillingham FC , Rotherham United and Port Vale , were promoted directly to Football League One, the clubs places four to seven played in play-off mode for fourth promotion place. Seventh-placed Bradford City won the play-off final . FC Barnet and Aldershot Town had to relegate .
