Nahki Michael Wells (born June 1, 1990 in Hamilton , Bermuda ) is a Bermudian football player who has been active for the Bermuda national football team since 2007 . He is currently under contract with the English second division club Bristol City .
Career

Carlisle United and Bradford City
After first starting his playing career in his native Bermuda, Nahki Wells moved to English third division club Carlisle United on January 1, 2011 . He made his first appearance in English professional football on January 15, 2011 in a 4-0 home win over Bristol Rovers . By the end of the Football League One 2010/11 season , he played two more missions for the club from Carlisle in northern England .
On July 22, 2011, the 21-year-old attacker signed a one-year contract with fourth division Bradford City . In the 2011/12 season Wells scored ten goals for the table eighteenth in Football League Two . In the following season he increased his goal yield to eighteen league goals and moved with Bradford as a table seventh in the play-offs. After a first round win over Burton Albion , his team defeated Northampton Town 3-0 in the final at Wembley . Wells scored the third goal in the game. The team from Bradford also played successfully in the 2012/13 League Cup , in which the fourth division team surprisingly made it to the final. In the final game, however, the outsider had no chance in a 5-0 defeat against Swansea City .
For the newly promoted Nahki Wells scored fourteen goals in nineteen games in Football League One 2013/14 before he left the club prematurely in January 2014.
Huddersfield Town
On January 10, 2014, the second division Huddersfield Town announced the commitment of the attacker. By the end of the Football League Championship 2013/14 , he scored seven goals for the seventeenth place in the table. In the 2014/15 season he increased to eleven league goals. He played his most successful season to date in Huddersfield in 2015/16 with seventeen goals. In the 2016/17 season he rose to the top division of England with Huddersfield after a 4: 3 win n. E. in the final of the promotion play-offs .
National team
Nahki Wells made his debut on December 14, 2007 at the age of 17 for the Bermuda national soccer team in a 1: 2 against the national soccer team of St. Kitts and Nevis . So far he has played nine games for the national team in his home country and scored five goals.
