The Bermuda national soccer team is the national soccer team of the British overseas territory of Bermuda . So far, the team has not yet managed to qualify for a soccer World Cup . In 2019 the team took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time.
Most of the players on the national team play for the Bermuda Hogges , a Bermuda team co-founded by national coach Lightbourne, which competes in the USL Second Division in US professional football.

World Championship
- 1930 to 1966 - did not participate
- 1970 - In qualifying for the 1970 World Cup in Mexico , the USA and Canada met in Group 1 . After three defeats and a draw, they were eliminated from the bottom of the group.
- 1974 to 1990 - did not participate
- 1994 - In qualifying for the 1994 World Cup in the USA , they met in the first round of Caribbean zone 1 against Haiti , against which they prevailed 1-0 and 1-2 and then Antigua and Barbuda . There, too, they won 3-0 and 2-1 and qualified for the second round. There you met in Group B on El Salvador , Canada and Jamaica . After one win, two draws and three defeats, they were eliminated from the bottom of the group.
- 1998 - In qualifying for the 1998 World Cup in France , they were drawn in Caribbean zone 2 in the first round against the team from Trinidad and Tobago , but withdrew from the qualification.
- 2002 - In qualifying for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea , the British Virgin Islands met in the Caribbean zone 2 of the preliminary round and prevailed with 5: 1 and 9: 0. Then they met Antigua and Barbuda , but had to admit defeat 0-0 and 1-1 due to the away goal rule .
- 2006 - In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup in Germany , they met Montserrat in the first round . They were able to achieve their highest victory so far with a 13-0 win in the first leg and qualify for the second round after a 7-0 second leg. There they met El Salvador and had to admit defeat 1: 2 and 2: 2.
- 2010 - As part of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa , the team met the Cayman Islands ' national team in the first round of the CONCACAF zone , which they defeated 1: 1 and 3: 1. In the second round they met Trinidad and Tobago . In the first leg they managed a 2-1 away win against their favorite opponents, but Trinidad and Tobago won the second leg 2-0, which meant the elimination of Bermuda.
- 2014 - In qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil , Trinidad and Tobago , Guyana and Barbados were played in the 2nd round . After three wins, one draw and two defeats, they were eliminated as third party.
- 2018 - In qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia , the team met the Bahamas in the 1st round in March 2015 and prevailed 5-0 and 3-0. In the second round in June 2015 they met Guatemala and missed the third round with 0-0 and 0-1.
