The 2017 soccer caribbean championship was the 18th edition of the soccer caribbean championship . The competition began with the first round of qualification on March 22, 2016. The final round took place from June 22 to 25, 2017 in Martinique . All four games of the finals took place at the Stade Pierre Aliker in Fort-de-France . In contrast to previous years, only four teams took part in 2017, which determined the winner in the knockout system .

qualification
25 of the 31 associations of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) took part in qualifying for the 2017 Caribbean Football Championship . The top three teams in the 2014 Caribbean Cup, Jamaica , Trinidad and Tobago and Haiti , were set for the third qualifying phase. In three qualifying rounds, the four teams that qualified directly for the 2017 Caribbean Championship were determined. These four teams were qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2017 at the same time .
