Since Staummtisch is an Austrian hip-hop - band from Linz , which has existed since the 2004th The German-language texts are presented in the Upper Austrian dialect .
history
Da Staummtisch first appeared in 2006 with her debut Diaf & Seicht EP . In 2008 the first album Rienewaplü was released . The first harbinger of Reif fir d'Insel appeared in the summer of 2008 at Kapusampler Freezing . In 2009 Da Staummtisch played together with their befriended band Hinterland (band) at the Danube Island Festival . In 2010 the second EP Respekt was released . The second album Eldorado was released in 2016 on Tonträger Records . This was followed by regular airplay on the Austrian youth radio station FM4 . The song Pistoin entered the FM4 charts in May 2016 and the single Geh'zuwa can also be found on FM4 Soundselection 34. Since Staummtisch, the Austrian band Texta supported the 2016 tour through Austria and Germany.
The MCs particularly value battle raps and word games , with the texts being rapped exclusively in the Upper Austrian dialect .
