Tontraeger Records is an Austrian independent record label from Linz, which musically specializes in hip-hop , dancehall and crossover . It was founded by the Linz hip-hop group Texta , which had its breakthrough in the 1990s. It has chart successes and airplay (especially on FM4 and gotv ).
In August 2007 the label sampler Vü Z'Vü (High German: way too much ) was published for the first time .
The biggest success of Tontraeger Records so far was the single release Cabin Party by rapper Skero .
