Cabin party is the title of a rap song from Austria , which was sung by Skero and Joyce Muniz in the Linz and Viennese dialect with touches of the German mainly spoken by migrants . The song reached number 4 in the Austrian single charts through a Facebook campaign . Kabinenparty is an adaptation of the title Popozuda rock and roll from Edu K. In September 2010 Skero was for Kabinenparty as song of the year with the Amadeus excellent. In addition, gold and platinum were awarded in February 2011 for the high sales figures for the single .
Creation and publication
During a visit to the Parkbad in Linz , Skero and some friends looked for shelter from a rain shower in a changing room, and that's where the idea for the song came about. It was originally intended only to loosen up the album Memoirs of a Giant . The DJ was involved in the recordings of the song Daniel Reisinger aka DJ Dan von Texta , while the rapper was the native Brazilian Joyce Muniz, who did her part in Portuguese. Produced was Kabinenparty Edu K.
The piece opens with the line of text " The anen go to Ibiza , the others to Udine , we stay in the park pool, party in the cabin " and is an atypical mixture of baile funk and hip-hop for Skero . Gustav Götz von Ö3 described it as the answer to the Atzen music by performers from Germany such as gynecologist . The song was released by Skero on his 2009 album in a 3:29 minute version and on the Internet as a download. On June 4, 2010, Tonträger Records released the single of the same name , which, in addition to the title song and the music video filmed in the Vienna Congress Bath, contains eight remixes , including by D.Kay . One of these versions is the winner of a remix competition organized by Skero and FM4 .
Chart success
An event of the online network Facebook under the name We manipulate the charts - “Cabin party” was founded as the number one hit . The background was another Facebook group that had managed to push Rage Against the Machine to number 1 in the UK charts in December 2009 . Originally the founder of the event chose the song Kaklakariada by Attwenger to set an example against Heinz-Christian Strache , but had only moderate success. Due to the reception of the song Cabin Party , the Facebook group selected this song and because of the number of downloads it rose to number 57 in the Austrian charts in February 2010 and rose to number 9. The group used contacts to a cabin party fan page on Facebook and to the download page of the music video on Youtube , which at that time already had around one million hits. The group received further support from Gustav Götz, radio host at Ö3 . The YouTube video had been accessed around two million times by June 2010. After the release as a single CD in early June 2010, the song rose to number 4 in the Austrian charts. In the 2010 annual ranking, Cabin Party took thirteenth place.
