The national soccer team of Curaçao is the national soccer team of the Caribbean island of Curaçao , an autonomous country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands . After the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles, she replaced the national team of the Netherlands Antilles . It is organized by the Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou (FFK) ( Papiamentu for: Football Association Curaçao), which emerged in September 2010 from the Nederlands Antilliaanse Voetbal Unie ( Dutch for: Football Union of the Netherlands Antilles). The FFK wants to work closely with the Bonaire Island Football Association . Sint Maarten , which also belonged to the Netherlands Antilles until October 2010 , had its own selection since the early 1990s .
As early as 1957/58 a team under the name Curaçao competed for World Cup qualification ; however, this was de facto the national team of the Netherlands Antilles . The national team of Curaçao played their first game in 2011, the team achieved their first major success by winning the Caribbean Championship in 2017. At the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2017 , the team took part for the first time under the name Curaçao , but before that the team was already as the Netherlands Antilles represented at the CONCACAF Gold Cup . So far, the team has not yet managed to qualify for a world championship.

World Championship
- 2014 : In qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil , Antigua and Barbuda , Haiti and the American Virgin Islands were played in the 2nd round . After 2 wins and 1 draw from 6 games, they were eliminated as third party. The two victories against the US Virgin Islands were the first ever.
- 2018 : In the qualification , the team met Montserrat in the first round in March 2015 and qualified for the second round against Cuba with a 2-1 home match and a 2-2 second match . After a 0-0 home game, 1-1 in the second leg was enough to qualify for the third round due to the away goals rule . There, however, the team retired after two 0-1 defeats against El Salvador .

King's Cup
On June 5, 2019, Curaçao won 3-1 in the preliminary round against India . In the final on June 8, 2019, the team won the King's Cup in the Chang Arena in the Thai city of Buri Ram after beating Vietnam 5: 4 on penalties .
