The Guyanese national soccer team is the national soccer team of the South American state of Guyana .
Although the former British colony is in South America, Guyana, like Suriname and French Guiana, is a member of the continental association CONCACAF . Until the independence of Guyana in 1966, the team took part in international competitions as British Guiana . So far, the team has not yet managed to qualify for a soccer World Cup . In 2019 the team took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time.

- 1930 to 1974 - did not participate
- 1978 - In qualifying for the 1978 World Cup in Argentina , they met Suriname in the Caribbean zone in the first round in Group A and were eliminated 2-0 and 0-3.
- 1982 - In qualifying for the 1982 World Cup in Spain , Grenada was played in the Caribbean zone in the first round in the qualifying game , which they won 5: 2 and 3: 2. In group A, you met Suriname and Cuba . After 4 defeats and 0 points, they were eliminated from the bottom of the group.
