In Nassau they lost the opening match against the Bahamas with 0: 3, two days later it was only enough to a 2: 2 draw against the US Virgin Islands, which meant the last place in the table in the group and thus eliminated. Against Cuba, the selection in Havana lost 6-0. On September 4, 2006, the national team of the Turks and Caicos Islands finally celebrated their first international win in their history: They defeated the Cayman Islands 2-0.
