The CONCACAF Gold Cup 2003 was the 17th game of the continental football championship for North Central America and the Caribbean and the 7th under the name "Gold Cup" and took place from July 12th to 27th in the USA and Mexico .

Twelve teams took part, initially playing against each other in four groups of three and then competing against each other in elimination rounds. A total of 20 games took place. In addition to three Caribbean, four Central American and three North American representatives, two guest teams from South America took part, Colombia and Brazil .

Mexico beat Brazil 1-0 in the final with a golden goal and qualified for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup in Germany.

The tournament took place in a total of three cities. Mexico played all games in Mexico City .
