The 1971 CONCACAF Nations Cup was the fifth game of the continental football championship for North Central America and the Caribbean and took place from November 20 to December 5 in Trinidad and Tobago . The game was played exclusively in the capital Port of Spain . The six participants played the tournament winner in a simple league round, everyone against everyone.
