Billy Forbes (born December 13, 1990 ) is a football player from the Turks and Caicos Islands . Besides Gavin Glinton, he is the second professional that the small country was able to produce.

Career

society

In his youth Forbes played for Provopool Celtic in his home country, from 2007 he played on the school team of Western Texas College. With a total of 17 goals in 35 appearances, his talent was already evident here. He then played for Lubbock Christian University.

Forbes began his career in the men's field in the Premier Development League at Mississippi Brilla and shortly afterwards switched to the King's Warriors , where he was able to draw attention to himself with seven goals and three assists in eleven games.

In 2014 he moved to the San Antonio Scorpions , where he blossomed with seven assists and four goals. In the final of the Soccer Bowl 2014 he contributed a goal and helped his team to a 2-1 win against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers .

After the Scorpions were triggered, Forbes switched to Rayo OKC , who also plays in the NASL, for the 2016 season . After these had also disbanded after a season, Forbes moved to the United Soccer League for San Antonio FC

National team

His talent did not remain hidden from the people in charge of the Association of the Turks and Caicos Islands for long, on February 6, 2008 he made his debut for the national team of the Turks and Caicos Islands in a game against St. Lucia , which the overseas territory won 2-1 could.
