Clyde Best
Clyde Cyril Best MBE (born February 24, 1951 in Somerset Village , Bermuda ) is a retired Bermuda football player .
Best started with Somerset Trojans in his youth before moving to West Ham United in 1968 , for whom he played 174 games and scored 46 goals over seven years. In 1975 he moved to the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USA . A year later he went to the Portland Timbers and in 1977 moved back to Europe to Feyenoord Rotterdam . But in 1978 he went back to the Portland Timbers. He finished his career with Toronto Blizzard .
In his football career, he also scored one goal in two appearances for the national team Bermuda . After the end of his career, he was also their head coach from 1997 to 1999.
