Pedro Miguel de Almeida Lopes Pereira (born January 22, 1998 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player . The defender is currently under contract with Benfica Lisbon and is loaned to CFC Genoa .

Career

Pereira, who played in the youth division of Benfica Lisbon from 2008 , moved to the Italian first division club Sampdoria Genoa in summer 2015 . In this he is in the professional squad from the 2015/16 season . He made his first appearance in Serie A on September 14, 2015 in a 2-0 win over newly promoted FC Bologna .

In January 2017, Pereira returned to Benfica Lisbon. In January 2018 it was awarded to the CFC Genoa .

Pereira has also been playing for various junior selections in his country since 2013.
