Jay Rhys Dasilva (born April 22, 1998 in Luton ) is an English football player. He currently plays for Bristol City on the left wing. He is the younger brother of former Luton Town player Ryan Dasilva.
Career
society
Jay Dasilva began his football career at the Luton Town Academy . In 2012 he moved to the youth team at Chelsea . He made his U-18 debut against Reading in April 2013 while he was under 15 years old. He was a regular member of the youth squad in the 2013/14 season. He was also the captain of the U-16s and led Chelsea to tournament success in the Premier League International in October 2013. Towards the end of the season he became an important player on the left attacking side and achieved victory in the FA Youth Cup with his team in the end . He scored his first goal of the season in the first leg of the final against Fulham FC .
As a new regular in the club's U-21s, he played again in the FA Youth Cop and for the first time in the UEFA Youth League . After a successful year there, he traveled with the first team on a training tour to Thailand and Australia . He played in three different age groups for Chelsea in the 2015/16 season. He was only one of seven players to win the FA Youth Cup three times, making him one of the most successful young players in England. He also won the UEFA Youth League twice in a row in 2014/15 and 2015/16 .
From the 2016/17 season, Dasilva will be a member of the U23 of Chelsea FC .
In January 2017 he became the third division Charlton Athletic awarded, for whom he in the same month against Millwall FC in the League One debut.
National team
Jay Dasilva made eight appearances for England's U-17 team in 2015 and made his debut for England's U-19 team in 2016 .
