Kasey Palmer (born November 9, 1996 in Lewisham , London ) is an English football player who is under contract with Chelsea . He plays in the position of midfielder. He currently plays for the second division Bristol City .
Career

Kasey Palmer began his youth development at Charlton Athletic .
After impressing in a match against Chelsea in the 2011/12 FA Youth Cup , Kasey Palmer moved to Chelsea in March 2013. He made his U-18 debut against Manchester United in April 2013.
As a regular midfielder in the 2013/14 season, he was of central importance for an excellent start to the U-18 season as he also scored a few goals. Like some of his teammates from the youth team, he got the chance early on to play at the U19 and U21 levels in the first year. An injury in the middle of the season slowed his progress somewhat, however, as he gained fitness towards the end of the season, he became an influential substitute in the U-21 Premier League and helped win the FA Youth Cup .
Since he was one of the older players in the 2015/16 season, a lot was expected of him but brought in good performances like a hat trick against Liverpool. That season he scored 16 goals. He was able to win the FA Youth Cup and the UEFA Youth League again with Chelsea .
For the 2016/17 season , Palmer moved to the second division Huddersfield Town for a year on loan , with whom he rose to the Premier League through a success in the play-off final . For the 2017/18 season , the loan was extended by one year.
After Chelsea's loan ended early in January 2018, the club loaned him to the second division Derby County on January 31, 2018 .
In the summer preparation for 2019, Palmer initially returned to Chelsea and completed the preparation under head coach Frank Lampard in the professional team. On August 1, 2019, he moved to Bristol City , for whom he had already played on loan in the second half of the preseason.
National team
Kasey Palmer played on every level from U17 to U20 of the English national football team and was added to the U21 squad for the Toulon tournament in May 2016.
