The Football League One 2010/11 was the seventh season of the English Football League One as the third highest division behind the Premier League and the Football League Championship, as well as the 19th season of the second division of the Football League after the introduction of the Premier League in 1992. It started on August 7, 2010 and ended on May 7, 2011.

The championship won Brighton & Hove Albion , which also secured participation in the Football League Championship 2011/12 season . Behind runner-up Southampton FC , Peterborough United secured third promoted place via a play-off system against Huddersfield Town , Milton Keynes Dons and AFC Bournemouth . In the Football League Two descend had to Dagenham & Redbridge , the Bristol Rovers , Plymouth Argyle and Swindon Town .
