Jordan Luke Rhodes (born February 5, 1990 in Oldham , Lancashire ) is a Scottish football player who has been under contract with Sheffield Wednesday since 2017 .

Ipswich Town (2007-2009)

Jordan Rhodes made his professional football debut on December 22, 2007 against Burnley FC in the 2007/08 Football League Championship for Ipswich Town . He had previously played four league games for the lower class club Oxford United from October 10 to November 10, 2007 . In the second division he completed eight games for Ipswich by the end of the season and scored his first and only league goal on April 9, 2008 in the game against Cardiff City. After two games in the 2008/09 Championship , he played from September 12 to December 31, 2008 on loan for the English fourth division AFC Rochdale and scored two goals in five games. From January 23 until the end of the season Rhodes played (14 games / 7 goals) for Brentford FC , also starting in the fourth division .

Huddersfield Town (2009-2012)

On July 31, 2009 he committed the third division Huddersfield Town and equipped Rhodes with a four-year contract. In the Football League One 2009/10 the club from Huddersfield reached the play-offs in sixth place, but lost in the first round against Millwall FC . Jordan Rhodes earned himself a regular place in the attack of the team from the start and scored nineteen goals in forty-seven league games. The 2010/11 season brought another increase with third place, and Huddersfield prevailed against AFC Bournemouth in the first round of the play-offs . The final game against Peterborough United was lost 3-0. Jordan Rhodes (39 games / 16 goals) again proved his scoring risk.

In the 2011/12 season he was able to increase his goal count again (40 games / 36 goals) and crowned his good performance on January 6, 2012 in a 6-0 away win over the Wycombe Wanderers in front of numerous Premier League scouts with five Hits.

Blackburn Rovers (2012-2016)

Shortly before the end of the transition period , Rhodes was signed by Blackburn Rovers for £ 8 million.

Middlesbrough FC (2016-)

On November 11, 2011, Rhodes came on in the 87th minute for Jamie Mackie in the 2-1 away win in Cyprus , making his debut for Scotland.
