The EFL League One 2017/18 was the 14th season of the English League One as the third highest English division behind the Premier League and the EFL Championship as well as the 26th season of the second highest division of the English Football League after the introduction of the Premier League in 1992. It started on August 5, 2017 and ended with the final of the promotion play-offs on May 27, 2018. The two best-placed clubs were promoted directly to the EFL Championship, the clubs in places three to six played in the play-off - Mode for the third promotion place. The teams had to relegate in the last four places.
