Ludwig Cretzschmar

Eberhard Ludwig Cretzschmar (born July 1, 1792 in Sulzbach , † October 10, 1862 in Rödelheim ) was a Hessian landowner and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ludwig Cretzschmar was the son of the pastor Otto Cretzschmar (1743-1818) and his second wife Anna Katharina, née Eberhard. Cretzschmar, who was Protestant, was a landowner and miller in Sulzbach and married Maria Christina nee Lamprecht.

From 1847 to 1856 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 9 / Okarben-Vilbel . He was the mayor of Rödelheim. In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament .
