Gustav Landmann

Gustav Heinrich Landmann (born June 14, 1824 in Assenheim , † May 24, 1901 in Dresden ) was a Protestant pastor, superintendent and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Gustav Landmann was the son of pastor Johann Heinrich Landmann and his wife Anna Sophie Margarethe nee Fertsch (1793–1847). Gustav Landmann, who was Protestant, married Wilhelmine Marie Johanna, born Zinßer (1833–1903) , on April 17, 1855 in Friedberg .

Gustav Landmann attended high schools in Gießen and Darmstadt . He studied at the University of Giessen and at the Friedberg Preachers' Seminar in the Grand Duchy of Hesse . He was pastor in Rendel until October 1875 and then senior pastor and superintendent in Plauen . From 1872 to 1875 he was a member of the II. Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse as a representative of the electoral district of Oberhessen 1 / Vilbel and a member of the district council in the Friedberg district . In 1892 he was made an honorary citizen of Plauen.

From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Saxony 23 (Plauen, Oelsnitz ) and the National Liberal Party .
