Karl Philipp Wilhelm Freiherr von Buseck (born June 7, 1776 in Reichelsheim , † September 25, 1852 in Butzbach ) was a liberal Hessian politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

family

Karl von Buseck comes from the noble family von Buseck and was the son of the chief guard and chamberlain in Baden-Durlach's service Philipp Ludwig von Buseck (1735–1781) and his wife Magdalena Charlotte Antonie Luise née von Trillitz (1777–1800). Karl von Buseck, who was a Protestant denomination, married his first wife Sophie Margarethe Wilhelmine Christine, nee Reichsfreiin von Senckenberg (1777–1800), the only child of Renatus Karl von Senckenberg , on February 28, 1799 in Gießen . In his second marriage he was married to Albertine, born Freiin von Schorlemer zu Nieder-Hellinghausen (1791-1858). Karl von Buseck had 11 legitimate children and is the progenitor of the members of the von Buseck family who are still alive today. His eldest son Carl von Buseck (1799–1870) was a member of the state parliament from 1832 to 1833.

education and profession

In 1796, Karl von Buseck became a free corporal in the Chevaux-Légers regiment and later a second lieutenant. In 1797 he became Capitaine III. Class. He resigned from military service as Rittmeister à la suite .

politics

In the 1st and 2nd electoral periods (1820-1824) he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. He represented the constituency of Oberhessen9 / Okarben-Vilbel in the estates . He took liberal positions.
