Carl Christian Friedrich Ludwig Emil Ernst Jakob Freiherr von Buseck (* December 7, 1799 in Gießen ; † March 11, 1870 there ) was a Hessian forester and member of parliament.

Carl Freiherr von Buseck was the son of the officer and member of the state parliament Karl von Buseck (1776-1852) and his first wife Sophie Margaretha Wilhelmine nee Freiin von Senckenberg (1777-1800), the only child of Renatus Karl von Senckenberg . In 1809 the grand ducal Hessian approval of the use of the baron title for the entire family took place. Carl von Buseck, who was a Protestant denomination, married Marie Helene Wilhelmine née Siebert (1800–1855) in Darmstadt in 1827. The marriage remained childless.

Carl von Buseck studied forest sciences and became an accessist at the forest management. In 1824 he was appointed chamberlain. He was an area forester in Nieder-Weisel , from 1837 an area forester in the Schiffenberg area and from 1846 a forest inspector in Gießen.

From 1832 to 1833 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 5 / Butzbach . In the estates he represented liberal positions. On May 16, 1850, he was elected to succeed August Völcker in the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament, but never formally entered the chamber.
