Wilhelm Joutz

Wilhelm Joutz (born July 15, 1850 in Butzbach , † July 21, 1916 in Bad Nauheim ) was a Hessian politician ( Hessischer Bauernbund ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Joutz was the son of the businessman Sebastian Joutz and his second wife Susanne Elisabeth, née Grüninger. Joutz, who was a Protestant, was a merchant in Butzbach.

From 1896 until his death in 1916 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 14 / Oberhessen 3 / Butzbach-Nauheim . After his death, Konrad Philipp Diehl replaced him in the state parliament. He was also mayor of Butzbach from 1890 to 1900.

Wilhelm-Joutz-Straße in Butzbach is named after him.
