Emil Vogt (politician)
Emil Christoph Vogt (born May 16, 1848 in Butzbach ; † May 26, 1930 ibid) was a Hessian pharmacist and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
Emil Vogt was the son of the pharmacist Johann Heinrich Vogt and his wife Anna Maria, née Grüsing. Vogt, who was Protestant, married Emma, née Bender, in his first marriage in 1875 and Emma, née Lindenborn, in 1892.
Vogt was the owner of a pharmacy in Butzbach. In Butzbach he was a council member and honorary citizen . Emil-Vogt-Straße in Butzbach is named after him.
From 1884 to 1890 and again from 1891 to 1896 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 3 / Butzbach .
