Zander Mateo Cassierra Cabezas (also Casierra ; born April 13, 1997 in Barbacoas , Nariño ), Mateo Cassierra for short , is a Colombian football player . The striker is under contract with Ajax Amsterdam and plays on loan for Belenenses SAD .
Career
Cassierra began his career as a five-year-old at Deportivo Cali , where he was in the first team from the 2015 season . During that season he scored eight goals in 23 games. In 2016 , he met four times in 20 missions until June before moving to Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie . There he scored the goal of the 3-1 final against Sparta Rotterdam in his first competitive game on August 7, 2016 . Cassierra played with Ajax in the 2016/17 season in the Europa League . He was used in five group games and reached the final with his team , which the team lost 2-0 to Manchester United . In the 2017/18 season he won the championship in the Eersten Divisie with Ajax's second team, Jong Ajax .
For the 2018/19 season , Cassierra was awarded to league rivals FC Groningen , for whom he made ten league appearances. In January 2019 it was awarded to the Argentinian first division team Racing Club until September 2019 . This was followed by a loan to Belenenses SAD .
