Heinrich Busold (born December 8, 1870 in Nidda , † August 11, 1915 in Friedberg ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Reichstag and the Hessian state parliament.

education and profession

Busold was born the son of the day laborer and servant Philipp Busold. After his father's death, he was sent to the Friedberg orphanage at the age of eight. After attending primary school in Nidda and Friedberg, he did an apprenticeship as a carpenter in the Friedberg district of Ossenheim from 1885 to 1885 and then went on a journey as a journeyman . After his return to Friedberg, he worked as a self-employed master carpenter from 1897 to 1908. From 1908 he was the full-time party secretary of the SPD in Friedberg. Busold married in 1896 and 1898. He died in 1915 of kidney disease.

politics

Heinrich Busold was a member of the SPD from 1896. In 1890 he was sentenced to six months in prison for his political activities. From 1898 Busold was a member of the Friedberg city council, to which he belonged almost continuously until his death in 1915. From 1893 he ran for the Reichstag elections . After several unsuccessful attempts, Busold won a seat in the Reichstag in the by-election in June 1910, which he lost again in the next regular Reichstag election in 1912. In 1911 Busold was elected to the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse for the constituency of Upper Hesse 14 / Vilbel .
