The League of Ireland 1994/95 was the 74th season of the top Irish football league . It began on August 28, 1994 and ended on April 25, 1995. The defending champions were the Shamrock Rovers .

Dundalk FC won the championship for the ninth time.

The league format has been simplified again compared to the previous year . The twelve teams each played against each other three times. Each team played 33 season games. The last two clubs were relegated directly to the First Division , the third from last had to go into relegation.
