The Ekstraklasa 2018/19 was the 85th season of the top Polish football league of men since its founding in 1927. A total of sixteen teams participated in the season 2018/19.

The season began on July 20, 2018 and ended on May 19, 2019. From December 23, 2018 to February 7, 2019, it was interrupted by a shortened winter break .

The champions qualified for the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League , the second and third for the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League . The last two clubs were relegated to the first division . Moved up from the second Polish league was the first time in the club's history Miedź Legnica and after 2007/08 Zagłębie Sosnowiec .

The defending champion was Legia Warsaw . The title won for the first time in the club's history Piast Gliwice . At the end of the season, the two promoted Miedź Legnica and Zagłębie Sosnowiec had to start again in the first division.
