The Miejski Stadium ( German Städtisches Stadion ) is a football stadium in the Polish city of Gliwice . The sports facility was built in the 1920s and was extensively rebuilt from 2010 to 2011. The stadium is the home Games from the Ekstraklasa belonging football club Piast Gliwice used.

Jahnstadion
The Jahnstadion was built in the 1920s when Gleiwitz ( Gliwice in Polish ) was still part of the German Empire . The stadium was named after the gymnastics father Friedrich Ludwig Jahn . The SpVgg Vorwärts-Rasensport Gleiwitz played their home games in the Jahnstadion until 1945.
Miejski Stadium
The stadium was rebuilt between 2010 and 2011 and now has a capacity of 9,913 spectators. The renovation cost 13 million € (about 54 million zł ). The stadium is identical to the Benteler Arena in Paderborn . An expansion to 15,000 spectator seats is possible if required.
