The Miejski Stadium ( German  Städtisches Stadion ) is a football stadium in the Polish city ​​of Gliwice . The sports facility was built in the 1920s and was extensively rebuilt from 2010 to 2011. The stadium is the home Games from the Ekstraklasa belonging football club Piast Gliwice used.

Jahnstadion

The Jahnstadion was built in the 1920s when Gleiwitz ( Gliwice in Polish ) was still part of the German Empire . The stadium was named after the gymnastics father Friedrich Ludwig Jahn . The SpVgg Vorwärts-Rasensport Gleiwitz played their home games in the Jahnstadion until 1945.
