Smederevska Ada ( Serbian for island of Smederevo ) is a 6 km² river island in Serbia .
It is located in the Danube , east of Belgrade near Smederevo and reaches a length of 5.8 km and a width of 1.5 km. The island is heavily forested and uninhabited. In 2011, plans were published to build a five-star hotel on the island.
